Hello, I’m Anna Kónya.
I am an artist, author, workshop facilitator, and the creator of the Inner Queen & King art project.
My work is not just about painting — it is about remembering who you are when life has taken you away from yourself.
Art didn’t come to me as a straight path.
It came back to me when I needed it the most.
Why I create
There are moments in life when everything feels uncertain. When you are no longer who you used to be… but not yet who you are becoming. I know that place.
My work is for people in that in-between space. For those who feel disconnected, lost, or quietly searching for something they cannot fully name.
My art acts as a bridge — something you can meet, feel, and recognize yourself in.
Through art, I create spaces where you can reconnect with your inner voice, your truth, and your sense of self.
Not by fixing you.
But by helping you remember.

What you will find here
My paintings are intuitive and deeply personal.
They are fragments of inner conversations, emotions, and realizations translated into form, colour, and symbol.
They are not here to impress.
They are here to resonate.
If something in you recognizes itself in my work, then it has already done its job.
My story
Early sensitivity
I was a deeply sensitive child. I felt everything intensely and found refuge in creating and crafting. But this part of me was not understood or supported.
Silencing creativity
At 13, after receiving harsh feedback from a teacher, I stopped painting.
For 20 years, I disconnected from the very thing that was most natural to me.
The turning point
At 33, after being diagnosed with a tumor, something shifted. I returned to drawing – not as a goal, but as a necessity.
Coming back to life through art
What started as abstract drawings became a lifeline. Shortly after, in 2015, I had my first exhibition.
Art didn’t just come back into my life. It helped me come back to myself.
I believe our hands are antennas, through which our innermost world finds its way into the visible.

Today
Today, I create, guide, and hold space for others who are walking through their own transitions.
Through:
intuitive artworks
workshops focused on self-discovery
one-on-one sessions
I support people in reconnecting with themselves, especially in moments when life feels uncertain or broken open.
A quiet invitation
If you feel drawn to this space, trust that.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to be “ready.”
You only need a small willingness to listen to yourself again.
