As part of the Hungarian Cultural Weeks in Albania
Organized in collaboration with the Hungarian Embassy in Tirana and the Albanian Ministry of Culture within the International Cultural Weeks (Javët Kulturore Ndërkombëtare), I have been contributing to a continuous cultural collaboration over three consecutive years:
- 2023 – exhibitions in the capital and three rural towns
- 2024 – exhibition in the capital and artistic workshops
- 2025 – Queen Geraldine Drawing Competition (concept, development, visual identity, regulations) and artwork donation within a diplomatic cultural framework
These initiatives aimed to strengthen cultural dialogue between Hungary and Albania through exhibitions, educational formats, and participatory art projects.
Queen Geraldine Drawing Competition (Cultural Week Edition)
Within the framework of the Hungarian Cultural Week, I created and developed the Queen Geraldine Drawing Competition from concept to realization – including the regulations, visual identity, posters, and overall structure of the program.
I also served as a jury member for the competition.
The initiative was designed to engage young participants through art, while honoring the legacy of Queen Geraldine as a cultural and historical bridge between nations.
Birth of Light

Presented to the Queen Geraldine Obstetrics and Gynecology University Hospital on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of Queen Geraldine’s birth, under a signed memorandum of cultural collaboration.
Artist Statement
At the heart of “Birth of Light” is a mother holding her child – a reflection on maternity as a sacred threshold, where life and death meet for a brief moment, and a soul arrives into its human journey.
The white roses are a tribute to Queen Geraldine. For me, they carry a quiet language of purity, grace, and dignity – a gentle yet enduring strength. They stand as a gesture of respect and remembrance, honoring a life that continues to resonate.
The mother’s flowing hair carries the colors of the Albanian flag, while the landscape behind unfolds from sea to valleys and mountains, opening into an eternal sunrise. Sunrise, for me, holds the essence of beginning – the life force from which everything becomes possible.
Around them, butterflies move like arriving souls – fragile, vibrant, and unique – each carrying the promise of a new story.
